Meet Andrea
Andrea (Andie) Rossi
MS, CNTP, ONC, AIP Certified Coach
Andie is the founder of Dirt & Bones, a functional nutrition and herbalism practice for creatives with chronic illness.
She's a community clinical herbalist and stand-up comedian who has spent nearly a decade working with complex cases — autoimmunity, gut disorders, environmental health, chronic stress, and more. She brings both clinical depth and the understanding of what it's actually like to be a creative person with a body that doesn't cooperate.
She holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Food Systems with a concentration in Food Justice, and her approach is rooted in harm reduction, vitalism, and the belief that care should be doable, personalized, and never boring.
When she's not helping clients untangle their health, she's probably doing stand-up about it.

Dirt & Bones’ Guiding Philosophies
-
We illuminate new perspectives with kind, humble humor, choosing soft-serve as the way we dish up scoops of real-real. We don't shy away from hard topics in our quest to seek new truths or reveal even edgy opinions, but in this process, we honor difference with respectful, uplifting humor.
-
We use the tenets of play to approach our work -surprise, delight, adventure. If there is a more fun way to learn it, to say it, something stranger, sillier, lovelier, or more charming, that’s how we do it.
-
We revel in range and multi-dimensionality, the ability to stretch into our full selves, and we invite and celebrate that in others.
-
We identify the capabilities and competencies in ourselves and others and draw attention to them, celebrate them, and amplify them.
-
We work with the flow of humanness, how we operate, how you operate. This means attending to the little things that make what we do for you not just accessible for you, but in alignment with how you move through the world.
-
We encourage messy brilliance. To us, messy brilliance is bringing intention to what we do, but not being afraid to be imperfect in the process to get something done or to get the message across...in service of living more fully.
